Day 1 ~ Blaine, Wa. to Hayden, Idaho

Well, our long awaited journey to the MidWest is finally here!!!  The preparation for this event has been such a tasking in itself, but no doubt exciting and challenging to say the least.  Tanner and Frankie (our two yellow labs), got more exercise this past week following us back and forth from the house to the fifth wheel fearing that we may just leave them behind!

Quaint little RV Park! $26 nt.

We left at 2:52am this Tuesday morning in hopes to reach Hayden, Idaho early afternoon before the heat set in.  It wasn't hard getting up early because we both were so darn anxious to escape from Whatcom County!  The crescent moon was so awesome and it was wonderful to see the sun rise as we approached Snoqualamie Pass.  We had a wonderful breakfast at Buzz's Steakhouse in Ellensburg, Wa., and it was there we topped off the truck with Diesel at $4.29 a gallon.  The sights along the way were wonderful, blue skies as far as the eye could see.  We arrived Hayden as planned.  Our RV sight is wonderful!  If today is any indication what our next 3 months are going to be like, it's going to be an AWESOME vacation.
