Day 59 ~ Amarillo, TX

Long Day....We got up early and left camp around 6:30 am.  We drove a little over 400 miles.  There really wasn't a lot to see on this drive.  It was quite a sigh of relief when we arrived Amarillo, TX.  We found a nice RV Park and got hooked up right away and then took a nice long walk with the boys.  We all needed a good stretch and work out!  As soon as we got a little exercise in, John and I went to the RV Museum.  Super cool!  So many restored Trailers and Motorhomes.  Very interesting to see how far the RV world has come!

We decided since we were here in Texas, it only seemed appropriate to go out for a "Steak" Dinner.  So we did and boy was it delicious!!!  We asked a local here a good place to have a Great steak dinner, she told us The Outback...???  Sorry, we didn't want to go to some chain restaraunt.  Then we found out from another local,  they suggested the Hoffbrau Steakhouse...Great referral!  It was one of the best steaks we have ever had!  I haven't had a steak dinner in over a year, this certainly was a treat.

We got back to camp, I did a little snooping around at the Mercantile Store at the RV Park, then John and I walked off our dinner around the park with the boys.  Beautiful evening here in Amarillo, TX.  The park here is very nice, all the Trailways here are lighted at night which makes it really nice for an evening stroll.
