American Picker's Nashville Store |
Today John and I wanted to go and see where the American Picker's have opened up their new shop in Nashville. What a fantastic place! Thanks to our handy dandy GPS, we were able to find it in no time! We took our time and enjoyed everything they had to offer in the store. A lot of the antiques were things we saw them pick on the TV show. Frank and Mike certainly have an eye for unusual stuff. We found out that Mike Wolfe got married last week in Franklin, TN. Nice people in the store shared some good stories with us. John even was able to get his picture taken with two of the cutie pies in the store.
After "Our" pick of the store, we left to go to the Loveless Cafe for lunch. A lovely afternoon for a nice drive, and then having lunch at the Loveless Cafe, it just doesn't get much better! I had a yummy Shrimp Chowder and John had the BLT. Great food, Great service, and of course a lot of visiting with the people there. It still amazes us how friendly and laid back everyone is here. They actually enjoy life in a nice slow pace.
We walked our lunch off at the grounds there. It was really warm out today! First time in quite a while that we have actually seen clouds! Big FLUFFY ones!
We had some time left before picking up the boys, so we drove to Brentwood to the Home Goods store there. We purchased some really nice items for the house. I (Jackie) am really getting inspired back here in the South to do some serious decorating when I get home!
We spent the evening relaxing and visiting our friends here at the RV park. Nice day, looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow.
